In this installment of The Hollywood Handoff, Scott regales us with the story of his time as an extra on John Milus' cold war opus, RED DAWN. This was a film that combined a second-string Brat Pack of Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey, C. Thomas Howell and Charlie Sheen, with the hardboiled magnificence of such character actor legends as William Smith, Powers Boothe and the inimitable Harry Dean Stanton. It brought the idea of small-town invasion by the Red Menace to the sands of Las Vegas and filled the desert with winter-camo, kids with machine guns and paratrooping russkies... what could possibly go wrong?!?

As you may have noticed things have been rather slow here at Eye Crave Network. Well, after a hiatus from the site so to speak, I've done some thinking on how to best continue its operation I've concluded it may be best to switch the focus of the site.

Because there are ample news sites out there I've decided to switch ECN back to simple review only site. I'm currently working on a revamp of the site to give provide cleaner look for the new focus.  I hope to have ready to go live in the near future.

To those that have sent us material to review things are little backed up, but now with a renewed focus on just reviews things should pick up in the next few months.
