Fans of Band of Brothers were delighted with HBO mini-series The Pacific when it finally aired. With its Blu-ray / DVD debut immanent it will most likely find its way to homes quickly for fans of the mini-series.

For now, here's what we know thus far - it will be in HD (1.78:1 aspect ratio) with Dolby Digital 5.1. As for bonus material here's what will be included:

The Pacific on DVD overflows with exclusive and informative content including, Historical Background, The Making of The Pacific, The Real Heroes of The Pacific, East vs. West. The Pacific on BD, in addition to all bonus materials available on the DVD, will contain two interactive companion features, Enhanced Viewing and Field Guide.

We also know that it will street on November 2nd, and it will also be in a tin case like Band of Brothers.Here's a look at the cover art for both the Blu-ray and DVD.
