Our ol' pal Scott Phillips of GIMME SKELTER and STINK OF FLESH notoriety has a new project hitting the airwaves tomorrow on the CW network.

KAMEN RIDER DRAGON KNIGHT is a Japanese-style action sci-fi, kung fu extravaganza with an American cast and some crazy FX work. Scott is a writer starting, I believe, on episode 3.

The show features Matt Mullins (best known as the voice of Prince of Persia) and the lovely Marisa Lauren of GREEK.

And this ain't no Power Rangers, neither. I've seen the first couple of episodes and, while initially confusing, if you hang on through the necessary exposition, it gets mighty entertaining. I'd say it's the best live action Martial Arts-based sci fi kids show since Ultraman was kickin' ace back in '72.

So WATCH IT!
