With the first game in the Halo franchise absent of Master Chief it appears as though Microsoft and Bungie have another massive hit on their hands with ODST. While the sales didn't quite match those of 2007's Halo 3 release, which broke all kinds of records, Halo 3: ODST sits in an exclusive club.
A club of games that has sold 2-million copies or more in it's first 24hrs. Yes, that's right. Halo 3: ODST has sold 2-million copies in the first 24hrs of release. VGChartz is reporting that the game sold 1.5 million copies in the America's while moving around 500k in Europe. That means the game has generated over 160-million dollars in 24hrs.
I wonder if they've got a pool and are waiting for the *boop-boop-boop* of the money truck to fill it up.
