Kai Owen plays Rhys Williams on Torchwood, husband of Torchwood team member Gwen Cooper, and as such plays the everyman grounding the show as fantastical events take place.

Kai is a veteran of stage and TV in his native Wales, in addition to his work on Torchwood, Kai Owen has appeared onstage in London’s West End and in the BBC TV drama Rocket Man. He also has a regular role in the BBC medical drama – Casualty.
