George Miller’s unique film, Three Thousand Years of Longing, is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD on November 15th from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
Synopsis: Dr. Alithea Binnie (Tilda Swinton) is an academic…a creature of reason. While in Istanbul, she happens to encounter a Djinn (Idris Elba) who offers her three wishes in exchange for his freedom. At first, she doubts that he is real and she knows all the cautionary tales of wishes gone wrong. But the Djinn pleads his case, and eventually she is beguiled and makes a wish that surprises them both!
The press release was light with very little info on technical specs. We do know it will get some flavour of HDR, at the minimum HDR10, and hopefully Dolby Vision. No word on what the audio specs will be for the 4K UHD or the Blu-ray.
No bonus features were listed on the press release either.
