What’s in Store from WHV in Q4

Those peeps from Warner Home Entertainment know how to throw a party. Media reps from television, radio, the interweb, and bloggers were invited to Toronto to see what the fourth quarter has in store from the Brothers Warner. Good food, cold drinks, sweet prizes (that I didn’t win) and a sweet voice activated shirt.

The main theme for the Q4 Product Showcase was Blu-ray. Some of you in the industry might shocked to hear that even though roughly 30% of households might have a Blu-ray player, but that nearly half of them are not even aware they can play their existing DVD collection on them.

Let’s kick things off closer to the end of October with Warner Bros. releasing Orphan on Blu-ray and DVD come the 27th. The Adult Swim Big Box Set is also set to hit store shelves on the same day with 6 full seasons of your favourite shows.
