HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. – (December 2, 2008) Everyday technology takes a frightening turn in a cyber-thriller from executive producer Steven Spielberg. Packed with unexpected plot twists and pulse-pounding action sequences, Eagle Eye arrives on DVD and Blu-ray on December 30, 2008 from Paramount Home Entertainment.  Starring Shia LaBeouf (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Transformers), Michelle Monaghan (Gone, Baby, Gone, Mission Impossible III), Billy Bob Thornton (Armageddon, Sling Blade), Rosario Dawson (Sin City, Grindhouse) and Michael Chiklis (“The Shield,” The Fantastic Four), Eagle Eye is available in  a special two-disc Special Edition DVD, Blu-ray and single-disc DVD.
Directed by D.J. Caruso (Disturbia), Eagle Eye is a high-tech, race-against-time thriller that will have audiences on the edge of their seats—and looking over their shoulders.  A copy shop clerk (LaBeouf) and a single mom (Monaghan) meet after receiving phone calls from an anonymous woman instructing them to do exactly as she says, or else.  The two strangers face dire consequences and are forced into a series of heart-stopping situations by someone who seems to see every move they make.  Using cell phones, LED signs, television screens and other commonplace technology to pass on instructions, the mystery woman ensnares the unwitting pair in a vast and unthinkable plot.  As the situation escalates and they become the nation’s most wanted fugitives, these two ordinary people must work together to discover who is manipulating them and why.
