Micro Review: Dark Knight on Blu-ray

I wanted to give you all my first thoughts on The Dark Knight on Blu-ray. I literally just finished watching it moments ago and then grabbed my PC when I should be crawling into bed for my wake-up call five short hours from now.

However, I needed to get something out there. Hence, the first Micro Review is born at Eye Crave Network.

There is no point in reviewing the movie again in this micro review. Nope, Ed took care of a review when the film was released.  Therefore, I’ll save mine for the full review.

First the video presentation is among the best I’ve ever laid eyes on. Unfortunately , they are glossed over, barely opened, overly tired eyes from being up since 3:30am this morning and it being shortly passed midnight. My focused staring moments turned up nothing I’d call imperfections. Simply put… The Dark Knight shines.

I’m not really sure how to put the audio into words. I’m still trying to hear the key clacks while I type so it must be a damn good Dolby Digital HD track. I think that my HT system was abused in ways that it has never known. I finally feel as though everything was used perfectly. I honestly believed my subwoofer was going to start coughing up blood. It was, um, crack for the ears.

Due to extreme fatigue not a single extra has been checked out, but stay tuned cause the full review will be posted by the weekend.

Since seeing Star Wars on TV as a child Shane has been hooked on movies. In 2001 he decided to start up his own webpage dedicated to his new love DVD. Now, over 20-years later he continues to FEED YOUR HUNGER with the latest Theatrical, Blu-ray and DVD reviews.
