Finally, John Wick fans will revisit that bullet-ridden universe with the spin-off story entitled BALLERINA. This action thriller is written by Shay Hatten (Army of the Dead, John Wick 3 -Parabellum) and directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld 2003, Live Free or Die Hard).
Ana de Armas plays the role of Rooney / The Ballerina who is on the hunt for the people responsible for her family’s murders. The film takes place between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Chapter 4.
Along with Keanu Reeves being involved on screen in some capacity, the film is actor Lance Reddick’s final screen role. Reddick died suddenly on March 17, 2023, aged 60.
