News broke this morning that the mouse house has found it’s director to tackle an all new Haunted Mansion movie based on the theme park ride and that is Justin Simien (Dear White People).
There will be no ties to the Eddie Murphy film, The Haunted Mansion, released in 2003. According to Deadline Disney has been wanted to work with the helmer and has met previously with him on several other projects before entering negotiations for Haunted Mansion.
