Michael Shannon (Zod) and Antje Traue (Faora) appear to be on the cast list for the upcoming The Flash movie from Warner Bros. according to their very own press site.
Michael Shannon first appeared as General Zod in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel and again briefly in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Traue who played his right-hand lieutenant Faora in MoS is returning as well. I’m not sure what capacity they will play in the film at this time, but with Supergirl, played by Sasha Calle, in the movie and her Kryptonian roots, it might be a flashback sequence.
The Flash movie, directed by Andy Muschietti, is going to follow the Flashpoint storyline where he travels back to save his mother and in doing so changes the course of the future.
Whatever role they play this is exciting news.
