Word from Deadline is that Henry Cavill is currently in talks for one of the lead roles for the Highlander reboot from Lionsgate.
With no word on the story as of yet it will be hard to guess what role Henry Cavill will play in Highlander, but with Chad Stahelski (John Wick) directing I’m sure we can expect an action packed movie where “There can only be ONE.”
The original film starred Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery and Clancy Brown. It spawned five sequels and TV series. The synopsis is:
He fought his first battle on the Scottish Highlands in 1536. He will fight his greatest battle on the streets of New York City in 1986. His name is Connor MacLeod. He is immortal.
