Rumours have been swirling around the web ever since someone said that Arnold was seen on the set of Terminator Salvation about a supposed role in the film. Well, Variety has confirmed that Arnold will in fact appear in the film, but not as you might think. 
This week on Schwarzenegger’s webcast he mentioned that he might be in the film, but Variety has learned that Arnold has been secretly working with McG and the effects team to reprise the role he made famous without even showing up on set. Here’s what they’ve learned:
A body-cast mold of Schwarzenegger, created when he first appeared as the muscle-ripped cyborg, provided the basis for a digital-effects version of his famous character. The figure appears in “Terminator Salvation” as a living, breathing actor.
