This weekends box office is unusually high for this time of year, you can chalk that up to the return of some proven movie series, I’m looking at you Saw V! So, without further ado, on with the list!
1. Disney juggernaut High School Musical 3 Takes the #1 spot this week with a staggering $42.0million
2. Saw V came in a distant, but respectable, second with $30.5 million, yes they’re still making those movies, and yes those movies are still making money.
3. Max Payne dropped like a rock to the #3 position this week, grossing a measly $7.6 million in it’s second week, with a total of $29.7 million
4. Beverly Hills Chihuahua continues to make money, don’t ask me how but in it’s 4th week it made $6.9 million with a total of $78.1 million
5. And Finally Pride & Glory‘s opening week was nothing to be proud of, and it hit the bottom of our list at $6.3million
