Does Jerry Bruckheimer have what it takes to make a successful video game adaption? He sure has a chance with the Mike Newell directed action / adventure film based of the popular Ubisoft franchise Prince of Persia.
Taking a page from the ‘Sands of Time’ game from 2003 the story tells of an adventurous prince, Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal), who teams with a fiery rival princess, Tamina (Gemma Arterton) who must prevent the sands of time from falling into villainous hands. Ben Kingsly and Alfred Molina also co-star what could become the best video game adaption in movie history.
