Looks like Disney is moving forward with another movie based off one of their rides with Scarlett Johansson set to produce and star in the Tower of Terror.
I’ve never done the ride due motion sickness issues, but the ride results in elevator drops and some surprised faces. The Twilight Zone inspired ride at the park also features narrator Rod Serling from the black and white program of the same name.
Collider broke the news although there is no official confirmation from Disney or Scarlett Jo’s people at this time.
Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4 director/Inside Out writer) is apparently penning the script. Details on the story are being kept sealed tight at this time.
No director is currently attached, but with Johansson coming off two Oscar noms (Marriage Story / JoJo Rabbit) Disney is no doubt going to set their sites high.
Scarlett Johansson can be seen next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie The Black Widow on July 9th.
