LEGO Rock Band Track List Announced

Are you ready to rock it like a rock star in LEGO® Rock Band?

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and MTV Games, a part of Viacom’s MTV Networks, announced today the track list (see the full list below) for Lego® Rock Band, the highly anticipated music and adventure game.  It combines the fun of multiplayer music making from rock band with the customization and humour of LEGO® videogame franchise to create a family-friendly experience that will allow tweens, teens and parents to experience a wild journey to rock stardom where they can “Build a Band and Rock the Universe”.  Following the same gaming experience of rocking-it-out at local venues and stadiums, the game will blow you out this world while rocking out at both fantasy locations on Earth and beyond by using the imaginative settings from the LEGO® world.  Keeping with the LEGO® “build-and play” philosophy, the mini-figure avatars, band and entourage, including roadies, managers and crew can be customized using the customized features of a LEGO® Rock Band.

Gamers will be able to expand their LEGO® Rock Band experience for both Xbox 360® and PlayStation® 3 with support from the colossal Rock Band™ Music Store.  Access will be restricted to tunes that are age appropriate and family-friendly from across the Rock Band platform.  These tracks will be continually highlighted specifically for the game.  In addition to access to all this music for LEGO® Rock Band, disc export technology pioneered by Harmonix will be available to export tracks from the original Rock Band disc to the music library of Rock Band 2. Owners of LEGO® Rock Band on Xbox 360® and PlayStation® 3 will be able to enter a unique code from an insert in their game manual into a dedicated website. The website will provide instructions allowing owners to unlock the export functionality of LEGO® Rock Band. At that point, players will be able to export tracks from LEGO® Rock Band to their hard drives for play in all game modes of the Rock Band Music Platform for a nominal export fee of $9.99 (800 Microsoft Points). An internet connection is required to perform this disc export.
