Atari announced today that Terminator 3: The Redemption has shipped to stores.Read on for more… Last year game developer Atari released its first game in the Terminator series loosely based on Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, which apparenlty wasn’t the greatest. With poor reviews you’d figure that would have been their last crack it, but nope, they’re releasing the second one in the series, again loosely based on the third film, called Terminator 3: The Redemption.Once again you get to play as the Terminator, T-800 series, which is also voiced by Arnold himself. The game is mix of third-person shooters, rail shooters, and driving genres. You also get to fight in the future, and there is an apparent “surprise ending,” which will lead into a fourth film if it happens.I personally hope there is a fourth, but that’s another topic. The game is also available for PS2 and GameCube.Don’t forget to get it at Gamestop or EBGames for your free iTips DVD Game Guide. The game is rated ‘T’ for Teen.
