The Feature presented in it’s restored 208 minute cut. Anamorphic Widescreen 2.35:1 with Dolby Digital 5.1 EX and DTS 6.1 ES soundtracks as well as an isolated 5.1 DDS sound effect track, isolated 5.1 score track and commentaries.
Commentary track #1 features Director and writer Peter Jackson and writers Fran Walsh and Phillipa Boyens.
Commentary track #2 features members of the design team, including, Grant Major, Richard Taylor, Alan Lee and John Howe.
