Our friends at Image Home Entertainment have quite the array of releases on deck for January 14. Also keep an eye out for 2 volumes of the TV classic NAKED CITY, the standup comedy variety show JUST FOR LAUGHS, the suspense film BLIND DATE and the comedy SKY HIGH. Fans of Comedy Central staple SOUTH PARK may be a little perturbed tomorrow, when SOUTH PARK: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON arrives in a nifty little box set, featuring the 13 episodes from the inaugural season. The previously announced episode commentaries by Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have been entirely removed from the package for ‘censorship’ issues. Warner Brothers, who is releasing the set, was worried by some of the more controversial comments by the pair. Parker and Stone, for their part, have decided to make the commentaries available in CD form through the Comedy Central website.

Extras will include a photo gallery, cast and crew biographies and the theatrical trailer. January 14.
