Will Dr. Jones finally make his mark on DVD????HELL YEAH!!!That’s right kids, the news we’ve all been waiting for has finally been divulged…INDIANA JONES returns to Home Video on DVD!!!NOVEMBER 4!!!!Here’s the official word from Paramount and Lucasfilm, along with a few other tidibits… Warner Brothers Home Entertainment will finally release SOUTH PARK: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON on June 3. The 3-disc set will include the requisite intros from Trey and Matt, along with the music video for “Chocolate Salty Balls” and a featurette entitled GOIN’ DOWN TO SOUTH PARK.Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment has announced the recent McTiernan thriller BASIC(which reteams John Travolta and Sam Jackson for the first time since PULP FICTION) for a July 8 release. The DVD will feature commentary from McTiernan and 4 featurettes.Also from CTHE is the indie hit LAUREL CANYON, starring Frances McDormand, Natascha McElhone, Christian Bale and Kate Beckinsale. That debuts July 15 alongside Russian Oscar winner BURNT BY THE SUN.Universal has announced a “Collectors Edition” rerelease for the Robert Redford spy comedy SNEAKERS costarring, among others, Sidney Poitier and River Pheonix. Extras will include a commentary from Director Phil Alden Robinson.Over at MTI, look for the June 3 release of LOWBALL starring Amber Benson and Peter “Zed’s Dead” Greene; The June 17 release of AIR AMERICA: OPERATION JAGUAR with HOT OR NOT? Host Lorenzo Lamas; and the June 24 release of DRUG LORDZ featuring David Rocha, and written and directed by Eduardo and Jose Quiroz (JACK MOVEZ).And of course, what you’ve all been waiting for…Dr.Jones…THE ADVENTURES OF INDIANA JONES: THE COMPLETE DVD MOVIE COLLECTION will debut November 4, 2003.The 4-disc set will feature all three films, remasteres by THX and featuring new 5.1 DDS sound mixes. The fourth disc will contain a wealth of extras, including interviews (new and old) with Spielberg, Lucas and Indy himself, Harrison Ford.
