MONSTERS, INC. has surpassed THE LION KING as the top single day home video seller of all time, with 5 million (combined DVD and VHS sales) units sold on day one of sales!!
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON and XENA WARRIOR PRINCESS: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON are both currently in prep for DVD release. No details have been announced, but the slayer will hit shelves swinging on January 7, and the warrior princess will hit November 30.
DVD production house Creative Designs will repackage the critics pick for “#1 film of all time”.
CITIZEN KANE will be repackaged by Creative for an October 29 release date. The film will be identical to the Warner Brothers release in every detail, although it will be packaged with the film RKO 281 as well as a senitype image and a 35mm film frame. The package comes with a price – .95 U.S.
Long-lived and highly popular Anime series RANMA ½ is about to hit our shores in RANMA ½ OUTTA CONTROL: TV ANIME SEASON # 4. The set includes all 24 fourth season episodes in their original full-frame aspect ratios and stereo sound. Extras will include Actor profiles, Text-free opening and closing sequences, and a line-art gallery. The four-disc set releases on November 12th with a 0 U.S. price tag.
