Nominated an impressive 11 times for the Academy Awards most fans have been waiting for the slightest dribble of news about The Return of the King hitting DVD.Well, we do have some information regarding the matter. Thanks to an interview with Director Peter Jackson on USA Today the director revealed that he’s just finished the Extended Edition cut of the film, which will run 4 hours and 10 minutes, and will debut in November just like the previous releases.However, we can expect the theatrical version much sooner than its predecessors. Jackson also mentioned it will arrive on DVD in May or June.We’ll keep you posted on the details as they become available.
