Warner Bros. Video will be unleashing the instant animated classic The Iron Giant in an all new Special Edition DVD.Of course I don’t need to tell you what we have if you read on… On September 7th be prepared to entranced once again by the tall of 100 foot tall robot voice by Vin Diesel. Other voice cast includes Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick Jr., Christopher McDonald, and Eli Marienthal (Stifler’s brohter)as Hogarth.The Iron Giant: Special Edition will feature a newly remastered 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen transfer, as well as a Dolby Digital 5.1. The bonus features will include an audio commentary with director Brad Bird, Jeffrey Lynch(head of the story department), Steve Markowski (supervising animator for the Giant) and Tony Fucile (head of animation). As well as, 8 deleted scenes, twelve branching mini-documentaries, Voice of the Giant featurette hosted by Vin Diesel. There will also be a motion gallery containing concept designs and storyboards, trailers and yet to be announced DVD-ROM features.
