This coming September Paramount will be releasing Transformers on Blu-ray much to Michael Bays joy!
It seems all the rumors that have been buzzing around are true! But is it enough to give this movie a second wind? You decide! We’re not yet sure if this will include all of the exclusive content that was on the, now dead, HD DVD release, but we do know some of the neat features the Blu-ray Disc will have. It will have two four part documentaries, an audio commentary with director Michael Bay, a “From Script to Sand: The SKORPONOK Desert Attack” featurette, all the theatrical trailers, a concepts gallery, and a few Easter eggs tossed in for good measure.
We’ll also be treated to a high-def audio track that was absent from the HD DVD (Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround). We have yet to see any box artwork (artwork included in this article is an “artist’s rendition” of what we can assume it might look like).
