While promoting his latest film, Two Lovers, actor Joaquin Phoenix dropped a bomb on the movie going public when being interviewed on the red carpet by E! Online.
The actor most famous for playing Caeser and Johnny Cash had this to say:
“Listen, I want to take this opportunity… also to give you the exclusive and just talk a little bit about the fact that this will be my last performance as an actor… I’m not doing films anymore.”
A shocked reporter chuckled thinking he was joking and Joaquin asked why he was laughing at him and then stormed off. When the reporter turned to Casey Affleck to ask if it was true he said that Phoenix will be focusing on his music and took off as well. The reporter turns to the camera with a look of disbelief and the video ends. Check it below.
