It’s that time of year again. It’s time for Moviethon. You know – “Making Good People Watch Bad Movies”.
This is where we call upon you… the people who Crave movies to help us raise funds to help us cover our costs for the year. This year however, we’re throwing in a twist. Yes, a twist, but don’t worry – you’ll still have the option to make us watch a terrible movie when you donate… 10 in a row for that matter.
I’m guessing you’d like to know what the twist is. Well it’s this… For every $50 we raise I, Shane, will be donating 3 DVDs to the Military to send overseas. I’ve spoken to some people in the military who are very excited about this including a few close family members who have served recently in Afghanistan who also like the idea immensely.
3 DVD may not seem like a lot, but if we reach our goal that means I’ll be donating approximately 90 DVDs. If Eye Crave Network reaches our goal I will double the amount of DVDs I donate. I’ve also reached out to our studio friends to pitch in as well.
Arrangements have already been made to get the DVDs overseas we just need you to help us reach our goal. We want to send these DVDs to the troops and bring a little entertainment to those who work so hard to protect others.
Donations for Moviethon will close on July 17th. Let’s do it
