When I first caught this headline “Owen Wilson to Star in Disney’s Haunted Mansion” I thought they were talking about Muppets Haunted Mansion because of today’s earlier news, but they are talking about their relaunch of the Haunted Mansion based, once again, on the theme park ride.
Owen Wilson will be joining LaKeith Stanfield and Tiffany Haddish in the spooky film. Details on the exact story are being kept secret, but it will involve a mansion… that is… haunted. Justin Simien will be directing the movie. Filming is expected to start in October.
