Do people go and actually watch these? they never live up to the originals. Anyhow, believe it or not while details aren’t yet forthcoming, in the last day or so we’ve learned that there are remakes possible in the pipeline for Alien (yes, ALIEN), Commando and now Total Recall. Quuuuuuaaaaaaaaaiiiiiidddddddd.
Variety is reporting that Kurt Wimmer has been hired by Columbia Pictures to pen the remake of the 1990 sci-fi flick that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger known as Total Recall. The original was based on the Philip K. Dick novel “We Can Remember It for You Wholesale”. Wimmer has been working with the studio on Salt, a thriller starring Angelina Jolie, and Law Abiding Citizen which stars jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler.
