Tops at the Box Office

I’m sure it’s not surprise to anyone that The Mummy Returns was the number one movie this weekend. However, I’m sure it is a surprise that it also broke the record for a non-holiday weekend at $70 million. The record was previously held by Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace with a mark of $64.8 million.

  1. Mummy Returns, The ($70.1m)
  2. Driven ($6.01m)
  3. Bridget Jones’s Diary ($6.0m)
  4. Spy Kids ($4.0m)
  5. Along Came a Spider ($3.8m)
  6. Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles ($3.2m)
  7. Blow ($2.4m)
  8. Forsaken, The ($1.5m)
  9. Joe Dirt ($1.5m)
  10. One Night at McCool’s ($1.3m)
