KILL BILL avoids box office PUNISHMENT while the JOHNSON FAMILY was on VACATION. HELLBOY enjoyed the new HOME ON THE RANGE. Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill Vol. 2 succeeded at the box office this past weekend taking on The Punisher and The Passion of the Christ. I guess revenge is more interesting than punishment based on the final box office results. Kill Bill Vol. 2 nearly doubled The Punisher, which nearly tripled Johnson Family Vacation. Hellboy slipped to fourth, while Disney’s Home on the Range took fifth.The Passion of the Christ, for the first time since release, is on the edge of droping out of the top ten as it finished tenth.1.
