Warner Home Video has given the official word on THE MATRIX RELOADED… The coolest flick of the Spring will be unleashed on October 14, in a shiny new 2-disc set. It will be available in both Fullscreen and Anamorphic Widescreen versions, with both 2.0 Dolby Surround and 5.1 DDS audio. Extras will include the featurette PRELOAD, a behind-the-scenes look at the cast and crew experience, as well as segments on THE FREEWAY CHASE, the new ENTER THE MATRIX video game, THE ANIMATRIX animated companion DVD, and looks at the worldwide influence the MATRIX films have had on advertising and filmmaking and the phenomenon of MATRIX fandom. DVD-Rom, weblinks and an MTV skit will also be included, along with other TBA extras. Here’s the final artwork you’ve all been waiting for. I hate to disappoint the crazies in our Forums, but the cover does not feature a dripping Carrie-Ann Moss in antigravity bondage gear. Pretty sweet, nonetheless, no?
