Dr. Seuss’ The Cat In the Hat is no Gothika. Elf is still the Master and Commander of the far side of Love? That, Actually, doesn’t make any sense?!?! With no real surprise to me Mike Myers’ latest project Dr. Seuss’ The Cat In The Hat managed to capture the top spot over this weekends box office. Halle Barry’s latest, Gothika, opened with half the revenue that the cat did, but managed to open in second just barely clipping Elf. Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World slide to fourth, while Love Actually was in fifth.1. Dr. Seuss’ The Cat In The Hat (40.08m)2. Gothika (19.62m)3. Elf (19.13m)4. Master And Commander: The Far Side of the World (15.20m)5. Love Actually (9.05m)6. The Matrix Revolutions (6.74m)7. Brother Bear (5.47m)8. Looney Tunes: Back In Action (4.11m)9. Scary Movie 3 (3.28m)10. Radio (2.60m)
