It’s with a sad heart that I report special effects master Stan Winston passed away last evening at the age of 62.
The sometimes director was responsible for some of movies greatest characters including the Predator, Terminator, Jurassic Park, and Edward Scissorhands to name a few. Most recently he created the Iron Man armour.
Stan suffered from multiple myeloma (cancer of the plasma cells) for the past several years. Stan Winston Studios will release a list of charities to donate to later today.
Over the next few weeks the EyeCraveDVD.com team will pay tribute to the F/X master. Stay tuned.
Rest In Peace Stan. Your art will surely be missed.
