The movies below met what I expected, but neither wowed me, or disappointed me.
- Monsters Vs. Aliens – Bob cracked me up
- Fast & Furious – The first decent sequel from the F&F franchise
- Terminator Salvation – With the future always changing from the actions of the past it was nice to see the aftermath of Judgement Day.
- UP – Pixar is always solid.
- Gamer – A fun action flick.
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – Second best Potter film IMO.
- G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra – A decent popcorn movie, but nothing more.
- The Princess and the Frog – Welcome back to 2D animation Disney. I’ve missed you.
All-in-all 2009 was a fine year for movies and boasted one of the finest years in sci-fi that I can recollect. I’m looking forward to 2010 and the surprises it brings.
